Honda Freed mini-minivan

Honda revealed its new compact minivan in Japan called the Freed. In Indonesia,
PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) as ATPM Honda was carrying out the study against people carrier 7-seater. Because, since was remained Stream, Honda did not have any candidates to oppose the MPV row best the homeland, like Nissan Grand Livina or Kijang Innova.

When it was confirmed, HPM only mentioned that HPM is still studying the Freed possibility to be sold in Indonesia. Because in Japan, Freed L package 8-seater was sold with the Rp price 178.6 million) was not far unlike Fit RS that was sold by Rp 141 million. [Indonesia] Buy the Car Now, the Price will rise

For anyone who has a plan to buy the new car, shuold not postpone until close or after lebaran. The price of the wheel vehicle of four passengers (passenger car) will rise. This sign was mentioned by two ATPM, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) and PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM).
The production capacity for all Toyota product achieved 7,000 units said Joko Trisanyoto (Marketing Direkotr PT TAM). "And TAM has asked the work order to be increased until the level to 9,000 units. But this is not easy because TAM has to ask the permission of principal (Japan)," obviously Joko. The price rising of Toyota car will be happened simultaneously with new Avanza facelift launching.

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) also has a plan to rise his product price from Rp 2 until Rp 3 million between September - in October 2008.

Chevy unveils the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

At simultaneous events at the GM Tech Center in Warren, Michigan, and GM West Coast Advanced Design Studio North Hollywood, California, GM unveiled the 2010 Chevy Camaro. Sales begin in early 2009.

"The new Camaro delivers the best of both worlds - great heritage and a thoroughly modern, advanced package of performance, comfort and technology," said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager. "It's a sports car for a new generation of enthusiasts that doesn't forget the heritage that helped make the original a cultural icon."

Built on the new GM global rear-drive platform, the Camaro is offered in V6-powered LS and LT models, as well as the V8-powered SS. All models and powertrain combinations include efficient six-speed transmissions.

Performance :

A 3.6L DI VVT V6 engine with a projected 300 hp and manual six-speed transmission is standard on LS and LT models. Choose the available six-speed automatic with TAPshift to achieve an estimated 26 mpg highway

High-End Hybrid: Prius-based Lexus set to be brand's first dedicated hybrid model With parent company Toyota scrambling to get its third-generation Prius ready by next year and racing against General Motors and its Volt project to be the first to market with a plug-in hybrid, its Lexus luxury arm also is reportedly hard at work on its own variant of the new Prius, which it will most likely unveil in a concept form similar to the illustration pictured here at the 2009 Detroit auto show.

Although Lexus has yet to have a dedicated hybrid in its lineup (it has hybrid versions of its RX 'ute and GS and LS sedans), the next-generation Prius, which is expected to be bigger and packed with more power, should be far more suitable for an upmarket offering. The difference between the Lexus variant and the Prius itself -- as is generally the case for Lexus models with Toyota underpinnings -- is not expected to be much more than skin deep.

The as-yet-unnamed Lexus will have its own body panels and may get a convertible variant, but both vehicles will be fitted with roof-mounted solar panels and nickel-metal hydride batteries upon launch. While the Prius is expected next year as a 2010-model-year vehicle, it is not known yet how soon after the Lexus will follow. As for the much-talked-about lithium-ion batteries, those will arrive later with the launch of the plug-in model.

Additionally, the Lexus might not be built at the new Blue Springs, Mississippi, plant that Toyota has confirmed will build the Prius starting in 2010. The luxury brand is averse to building its vehicles outside of Japan, with the RX crossover being its only non-Japanese-made model.
